JustMeds IronConnect Program — Terms & Conditions
01Introduction & Program overview
JustMeds IronConnect (the Program) is a clinic-led initiative managed by JustMeds Pty Ltd. The Program delivers pharmacy services and facilitates clinical support via a registered community pharmacy, Shane Henry Pharmacy Mosman.
The Program supports the access and administration of Monofer (ferric derisomaltose) within participating healthcare providers, in partnership with Menarini Australia Pty Ltd and JustMeds Pty Ltd.
By enrolling in the Program, the participating clinic (the Clinic) agrees to:
- Read, understand, and abide by these Terms and Conditions (the Terms) at all times.
- Acknowledge that JustMeds and Menarini may rely on and enforce these Terms throughout the Clinic's participation.
02Clinic enrolment & data sharing
- Enrolment process: Menarini will manage the initial engagement to enrol Clinics in the Program.
- Information sharing: The Clinic consents to Menarini sharing registration information with JustMeds and Shane Henry Pharmacy Mosman to facilitate Program setup.
- Maintenance of details: The Clinic must notify JustMeds prior to any changes in contact information, including phone numbers, email, or mailing addresses.
03Program participation & stock management
Participating Clinics agree to the following operational requirements:
- Consignment stock: Accept Monofer stock on a consignment-only basis, delivered exclusively by JustMeds.
- Account setup: Establish a JustMeds portal account to manage the initial order and all subsequent replacement stock.
- Auto-replenishment: Allow JustMeds to automatically replenish stock based on the initial allocation (typically 12 × 500 mg and 3 × 1,000 mg) unless otherwise requested.
- Inventory control:
- Confirm receipt of all deliveries by signing delivery orders.
- Use allocated stock exclusively for patients prescribed Monofer, and keep stock on-site unless written consent for removal is provided by JustMeds.
- Follow a "First In, First Out" (FIFO) rule to preserve shelf life.
- Store stock securely as Schedule 4 (S4) medications and follow any additional storage instructions from Menarini.
- Auditing: Allow JustMeds or Menarini to perform periodic stock audits via email, phone, or physical inspection.
04Patient eligibility & enrolment
The Program is restricted to patients who meet all of the following criteria:
- Diagnosed with iron deficiency by a healthcare professional at the Clinic.
- Eligible for PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme) supply of IV Iron.
- Aged 18 years or older.
- Current residents of Australia with a valid Australian residential address.
To enrol a patient, the Clinic must provide them with the requisite QR code to upload their e-prescription to the JustMeds portal.
05Medication administration & dispensing
- Clinical assessment: The Clinic remains responsible for assessing patient eligibility and issuing the prescription.
- Patient choice: The Clinic must inform patients that they may choose to have their prescription dispensed at any pharmacy.
- JustMeds dispensing: If the patient chooses the Program, they must pay the applicable co-pay via the JustMeds patient portal using the provided QR code.
- Financial liability: If Monofer is administered without a valid PBS prescription, the Clinic is liable for the full cost of the stock:
Prices listed as at the date of this version and are subject to change in line with the PBS schedule and supplier pricing.
06Fees & payments
- The Clinic holds stock on consignment and shall not disburse money for the stock itself.
- The Clinic is strictly prohibited from charging patients any additional dispensing or purchase fees for Monofer provided through this Program.
07Safety, privacy & reporting
- Privacy: The Clinic must comply with all Australian privacy laws and obtain patient consent before disclosing personal information to JustMeds. Menarini's Privacy Notice must be made available to the patient.
- Pharmacovigilance: Any Adverse Events or Product Complaints must be reported to Menarini within 24 hours using the contacts below.
- Damaged stock: Report damaged stock or defects to JustMeds within 24 hours. Faulty stock must be retained until further instruction.
08Availability & termination
- Operating hours: Electronic dispensing is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST. Hours are subject to change without notice.
- Termination: Either party may terminate participation with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, the Clinic must use best endeavours to clear stock or return remaining vials to JustMeds.
How you accept these Terms
The Clinic accepts these Terms by completing and submitting the JustMeds IronConnect Enrolment form, ticking the HCP consent box, and proceeding with Program enrolment. The submitting party warrants that they have authority to bind the Clinic to these Terms.
